Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study prejudices and to compare the prejudices of people in Charoen Nakhon area Thonburi district towards people with tattoos classified by personal factors. This study is a Quantitative Research. The population used in the study was General people living in Charoen Nakhon area Thonburi District, number 400 people. Yamane's formula (Yamane: 48) was used, using a questionnaire as a tool. The results findings were the subjects had a public bias towards people with tattoos. Overall, there was little agreement. The average is 2.44. When considering each aspect, it was found that the subjects had a public bias towards people with tattoos. The tattoo is something used to record a person's life story with an average of 3.07 second is tattoo may cause problems within the family. Tattoos are related to superstitions such as work, finance, love, etc. The average is 3.02 and 2.77, respectively. And compare the prejudices of people in Charoen Nakhon area Thonburi district towards people with tattoos classified by personal factors. Classified by age range, by religion, by occupation, and by education level It was found that the subjects with different age ranges, religions, occupations and educational levels had different biases towards people with different tattoos. But at the same time, it was found that the subjects of different genders had no difference in prejudice towards people with tattoos.
